In 2014, German filmaker Thomas Schumacher brought his film gear to Tony Windberg's remote Australian studio.  The result is this multi award winning documentary film on the artist's connection to the landscape, and in particular, trees.

 

Tony Windberg - A Painter in the Woods is a sensitive portrayal of an artist immersed in his forest environment, from which he gathers materials to prepare and use back in his studio in a fascinating artistic alchemy.
